2 MONTHS INTENSIVE - UP TO 1 YEAR OF SUPPORT
Value $17,708 | Price $4,997
You have a mission because we need to fix the future for our children and grandchildren. They need a livable planet and we're on the wrong path. It can be fixed. This is what we must do. And we can.
This LAB is designed to help business leaders fix climate, waste, and pollution in their value chains: While they are the experts for technology, choice of materials and technical resources, you can add expertise for implementation and cultural change. The 4th Industrial Revolution (German: Industrie 4.0) is well underway and will accelerate.
Green mentors and caches help business leaders avoid the 70% of organisational development that fails to meet expectations (source: Harvard Business School and, more recently, Boston Consulting Group). The LAB is designed around strategic mentoring and tacit knowledge management to reach all levels in an organisation + its trading partners - suppliers, services, distributors, and logistics.
Project techniques and IT resources increase control and reduce the risk for owners, investors and banks.
The Basics and Specialisation stages are designed to fit within two months. LAB (laboratory) because you develop your own services and blueprints, and get help to market your services. A strong community where you can ask any question and get regular updates from industry and leadership development experts.
PS, this is my third global service project. The first was in GE's global e-business serving big companies and assigned to the UN ECE project to create the UN Edifact standards. My second was as Nordic partner when we built the International Executive Search Federation.
Let's do this for our children and grandchildren - a small investment for a great cause.
Yours truly,
Paul
Stage 1 The Basics
Self-paced
(1) The Core of Green Thinking
This module is a roadmap to ‘green thinking’ and an overview of current standards.
Technologies and products come in different forms, depending on local problems and resources. Starting with the manifesto, we then explain the 4 quadrants of stakeholders, to which we add a roadmap:
Self-paced
(2) Leadership Coaching
The business landscape is changing fast, so expect the high failure rate in organizational change (50-70%) to continue. One-on-one coaching is not enough and not all leadership coaching is the same.
Strategic mentoring programs can deliver deep support for strategic projects when combined with root cause analysis.
Executive coaching can be useful. Major changes must start at the top. But, is coaching ROI inflated?
Stakeholder interviews are critical, so we have included links to a selection of Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching (SCC) videos - a great resource for working with managers.
Our set of core themes: (1) Relationships, (2) Presence, (3) Goals & Performance, (4) Purpose and Leadership. Our 7 Domains and 5*STARS models let you analyze where to put the effort.
Manuals + masterminds running monthly
(3) Project coaching and Masterminds
Sustainability projects are often quite complex. In fact, we have built a model from successful projects with 47 headlines for large organizations and chosen 24 for SMEs. The number of activities may total between 100-200 and the proven way to work with dependencies and resource loading is project planning: waterfall, agile and/or parallel projects.
We will discuss project coaching and key topics such project management tools, critical path analysis, protecting slack and resource commitment (critical!). We will explore the psychology involved in group tools such as U-Lab, world café and others that can be useful when working with emerging futures and tacit knowledge management.
Masterminds is a support system for professionals. If you know how to do it right, masterminds are a great tool for change. The best way to learn about world-class masterminds is to be in one.
Masterminds provide a unique space for participants to get new insights, ask for help, commit to action, and help each other adjust and grow both personally and professionally.
You will learn the psychology of masterminds and how you can build different structures, such as hot seats, spotlights, and when to use a topic as an introduction followed by ‘table talk’. Integrate with other methods you've learnt.
After this training, you can participate in small LAB Mastermind groups for a full 12 months – after the initial two months, you will take turns moderating the sessions.
3 days virtual: 4-8 p.m. CET | Each month
Boot camp and Integration (Modules 4-5)
Preparation. We will be using a case study of an anonymous company that is well suited for a coaching/mentoring program. In groups, you will get access to prototypes and project models that we have spent a lot of time researching and tweaking to fit small and medium-sized businesses and community projects.
Shared methods is your chance to integrate with your business model. Nothing can be more meaningful than working for clients who try to save the planet we live on.
After the boot-camp you will be asked to reflect and document your own methods and we will help you identify what additional learning and/or reading you need for in-depth client work. The boot camp is where you integrate green thinking into your business model.
Day 1: Module 4 Mentoring Programs and Strategies
Introduces you to ways that help clients convert tacit knowledge into strategic assets. Central components are summed up by our 5*STARS: strategic focus, teamwork, accelerators, results orientation, and systemic thinking.
We explore different approaches and ways to structure project management for success. Among the topics: What do successful programs actually deliver? How can we add critical path monitoring in projects where resources are sporadic or severely constrained?
And why did we in GE treat scaling e-business to thousands of suppliers and customers not as a project, but a repetitive process? How is sustainability similar?
Finally, what do project steering committees at board level need to know and monitor?
Day 2: Module 5 ESG, Circular Economy, and Green Resources
What’s trending? What is working? What do investors really, really want to know? How do you recognize greenwashing and green wishing? (After 2015 we still have both.)
This module gives you up-to-date insights from across the world plus access to our Airtable database with brief descripions and links to important articles, websites, whitepapers, research, and reports. We even run weekly AI-generated summaries.
These resources will make it easier to sell projects and feed clients with useful information. Nothing is more powerful than employees who are fully engaged and up-to-date!
Day 3: Governance (Mini-Lab)
This Mini-Lab is a half-day version of the Directors' Workshop that we developed specifically as an overview of ISO and IFRS ISSB guidelines for governance. You will get insights into four areas: Laws and regulations. Code of conduct and stakeholder relations. The Board of Directors as a Team. The chairperson's role in setting the agenda.
What is governance and what do you need to know? What is a typical agenda for the Chair of a Board of Directors as far as sustainability? Which guidance documents are relevant? How are responsibilities split between the board and senior management? When do you need a Steering Committee and how does it work? How can you make sure that 'green thinking' is adopted by all employees (hint: different types of mentoring)?
The LAB is led by Dr Paul O Olson, who in addition to psychology holds an MBA (siviløkonom). He was associate partner and lecturer at the Norwegian Board Academy (Styrelederskolen) from 2007-2014. He is a full member of the Institute of Directors (UK), the leading voice in corporate governance. More recently, he has been an expert in ISO committees for circular economy and ESG governance standards.
Stage 2 Specialisation
Self-paced with additional online sessions
(6) ISO Sustainability standards
This module prepares you for the ISO-based "Sustainability Coach Certificate" with core sustainability standards. They stack on top of each other.
EU actively pushes ISO/CEN standards to accelerate the green deal. Which means that companies with an ISO 9001 quality management system already have a competitive advantage. Those who don't, better speed up.
For both groups, the green shift can take time. Takes a lot of time, if it's a cultural shift.
Coaches and mentors can definitely help!
The module explains how ISO standards can be combined. In particular:
Others that are covered but do not have a certification scheme:
We will be discussing how to work with a stack of standards; how to coach, mentor and consult with directors, executives and middle-management teams. What they typically want is action and results – organizational change at the lowest possible cost and effort.
Several million companies work with these standards, which is increasingly a pre-qualification for being suppliers to large companies. A big market for you!
The Global Services Directory
(7) Certification (from Nov 2024)
Certifications are voluntary and can be taken at any time after this course. We will do an initial assessment together of competence, practice hours, and then we create a plan to fill any gaps.
You document your green thinking and coaching/mentoring competencies in a Methods Paper and do the paperwork as a candidate. The Sustainability coach exam is online, administered by Norwegian Certification, and consists of digital 'tasks'.
We have agreed with the certification body that your public certificate can include your coach credentials, such as academic degrees, EMCC Senior Practitioner and/or ICF PCC.
After a successful pass, your CV & Methods profile will be listed in the Global Services Directory and you can update your LinkedIN profile with the links.
Valuable Bonuses
BONUS 1 COMMUNITY AND PARTNERSHIP
One year Global Resources (value $4,000 )
You cannot achieve everything alone. Our research showed that 'community' was the #1 priority among coaches. A mastermind provides support, companionship, joint ventures and friends for life. High-level masterminds take a lot of insight - many masterminds are no more than training or workshops. Facilitating great masterminds is both an art and a practice.
Done right, this could be your best experience ever. Say I who spent 3 years of travelling to Canada and USA to learn from one of the best. That's why I know the payoff can be potentially huge and life-changing. I even spent 20K$ and a trip to San Diego to be mentored by Alex Moscow on how to set up a sales unit within web marketing and go for high-ticket sales.
You will hold each other accountable for setting and achieving goals, you share resources and opportunities with each other, and support each other when needed. You care about each other's success.
Common themes are what to do with social media, branding, central sales support, networking, major/global account management and sales campaigns. How and what to delegate. How to work with joint ventures and affiliate marketing. Or share tips from Brendon Burchard, Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss/Digital Marketer, Jeff Walker, Ryan Levesque and others.
BONUS 2 DEVELOPING NEW BUSINESS
Client Acquisition Challenge (value $497)
After this module you will know exactly how central resources can help you grow your business and income potential. My CTO Tom Teague, PhD will help you create a blueprint. This will include …
These are core components of LAB and we stay on top of the trends including travel to learn from Brendon Burchard, Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss/Digital Marketer, Jeff Walker, Ryan Levesque and others. I even spent 20K$ and a trip to San Diego to be mentored by Alex Moscow on how to set up a sales unit within web marketing and go for high-ticket sales.
BONUS 3 HOW TO HANDLE RED FLAGS
Safe Practices Workshop (value $997)
Life can be very complicated and take bad turns. Nobody is beyond feeling bad about self, others and the world sometimes. Where does the line go between coaching and psychotherapy? What if a coachee reveals childhood abuse or bipolar behaviour? How do you handle somebody who appears deeply depressed or anxious, with or without apparent reason?
This module includes the Applied Personality course with topics such as neuropsychology, personality and a proxy method that I use for interviews when figuring out the group dynamics in management team.
The other part is a workshop where we discuss diagnostic manuals and categories of mental disorders, and who to contact if you suspect deeper issues. Most coaches are not health workers, so they fall under the general public in terms of responsibilities, but malpractice is a real risk.
BONUS 4 STRETCH TO EXCELLENCE
One Year Project coaching (value $10,000)
We want you to win and support your clients' projects from the start. We don’t want you to get stuck at any point!

Do I Qualify?
This LAB is not for everybody. If you are on this page because of a direct invitation, great. This means that I have pre-qualified you through an interview, reading your LinkedIn profile and browsing your website. OR, have you gotten here by referral but not an invitation yet? Send us a message at support @ greenmentors.eu to find out if you qualify and get discount codes.
This is for you if you are a consultant, coach or mentor working with organizations in addition to one-on-one. You own your business and/or have a background that includes leadership coaching.
Ideally, you're accredited by EMCC Global as a senior/master practitioner coach/mentor. or we can help you achieve accreditation through The Bridge 2.0 Intensive. This is particularly attractive if you are a consultant with experience from coaching/mentoring programs.
If you're ICF PCC or above, you must be open to a combined coaching/mentoring approach. With the challenges ahead, the adage that 'we have what we need inside us' is simply not true.
Coaching psychology is a very valuable background, in particular for those who work in organizational development.
You might also qualify if you are a manager, organizational consultant or other professional who has used coaching and/or mentoring as a tool, but don't have an accreditation or certificate. We can then support you in The Bridge 2.0 Intensive.
FAQ
Will I succeed? I've never done projects like this. The short and sweet answer is yes. We want you to succeed. So, if you've been selected, we are sure that you will. We want only professionals that we are sure can do the job with clients.
Is the program flexible? I have a big workload. Yes. Certain elements are fixed because this is a LAB, not an online course. But, regard this as a solution rather than a problem. It will give you more resources and free up your time. Which in turn means you can either work less or spend more time on more rewarding, meaningful projects.
Will I get help with marketing? That's my biggest obstacle. Yes, we have bonuses that will support you to the next level. In fact, the LAB is designed to help experienced practitioners fill in gaps and have a shared toolbox. This makes it much easier to work on joint opportunitities and shared campaigns.
How long till I see the results? Almost immediately or at least within the first 2 months, you will have enough 'under the belt' to work with clients on footprints, circular business models, and grow their business.
How much time do I need? We want to be honest: this obviously comes with an investment in time. However, we try to shorten the time you spend in person to approx. 4 days during the first 3 months, with some self-study and reflection in between. There will be recorded materials.
Why can't I simply do this myself? You could, but we believe this is a unique opportunity: this program presents a lifetime of experience in international management, business consulting, project management, and cultural psychology. More recently, we spent almost two years figuring out how we can provide international organisations with inexpensive, highly effective frameworks to protect their investments in human capital, ESG and green technologies. It's a lot of value!
Is this evidence-based? Yes. Clients today expect evidence-based practices. They know more and demand more. Although we are open to all experiential learning, what we teach is evidence-based. That's a promise!
Your Advantage
Enough time to succeed, but not enough to procrastinate...
Partnership, community
Do you miss working with peers?
Our research found 'community' as the #1 priority. Not just membership, but colleagues. The LAB is a closed community of equals for a full year. Learn and share with masterminds. Discuss and connect with professionals all over the world.

Expect Top Quality with a Global View
Endorsements from hundreds of executive clients
“… probably the fastest turnaround we’ve ever seen” – Chairman of the board for a joint venture in health insurance where Paul was lead coach/supervisor for their LEAN project and executive coach to the CEO
“… we’re still harvesting from your strategies” – a comment 3 years after I left the role as Business Unit Manager for Sterling Commerce, Nordic Europe
“…because he’s one of the best in Europe” – a business owner when asked by one of his CEOs why he hired an executive coach from Norway to coach a German management team, in German. Later, I managed a very difficult turnaround at board level in one of the subsidiaries.
I have methods and experience from leadership and management in a variety of difficult situations: steering committees to hold projects on track with time, quality and budget; managing turnarounds; and repair work when strategies fail.
"At times I had great doubts of my own abilities to pull through. Paul sensed my doubts and resistance and he elegantly and cleverly helped me to counter my resistance and pull through. Fortunately he was able to see more of my potential than I myself could trust, and giving me new perspectives and support in ways that touched both my mind and my heart. The proof of the pudding is of course that I made the Master Practitioner, which would never have happened without Paul’s intelligent interventions. I experience him solid as a rock!
"I have known you for several years and our meetings/sessions have been of great value from my point of view, due to your deep insight within leadership and factors of competence that lead to accelerated value creation. You have had deep insight and contributions [...] my assessment is that Paul is outstanding to help maximize value creation within management teams – independent of industry, nationality and culture.
"What makes you unique and exceptional is your robust background in GE practices, coupled with your thorough understanding of mentoring and coaching, topped off by your PhD in Psychology. That’s a rich and truly wonderful stew of skill sets, talents, and gifts that you bring to every client, and it gives you an exquisitely wide and deep tool kit with which you can be of service to your clients.
"There is a popular idea that we need to think out of the box, an idea that is not so simple to live up to, but in many ways I think Paul does just that. It is needed from an executive coach in order to help executives and managers on all levels to be able to shift perspectives and see more of the whole picture and not only make good, but great decisions.
To give a more complete idea, Paul is a visionary that can fathom complexity and make that complexity understandable. He is also able to incorporate evidence from different theories and research orientations in his practice, a quality that differentiates the master level coach.
